Ertek Group’s Chairman of the Board, Ergün Emiroğulları, released a message on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.
“Valuable Stakeholders of ERTEK Group,
Business Partners, Dear Friends, and Employees,
From the waterless village of Baf’s Susuz, aiming to be beneficial to this country and humanity, my professional journey started in the School of Art in 1972. After assuming responsibilities in significant projects, I founded Ertek Electric Systems Ltd. in Nicosia in 1993.
In the early years of its establishment, our company focused on electrical contracting services. Over the years, we diversified into different sectors, expanded our activities, and established new companies to broaden our service spectrum, creating a structured corporate entity. During this developmental phase, while Ertek Electric thrived in the contracting sector, we aimed to contribute significantly to the development and industrialization of Cyprus with our ERTEK Panel Factory established in 2008. Our factory team, operating with a production and labor goal, achieved success by exporting beyond the borders of the European Union, setting new goals, and I have no doubt that we will achieve all these objectives.
Our companies under the Ertek Group umbrella have become one of the leading group companies in the Electric, Automation, and Construction fields in Cyprus, Turkey, and the UAE, employing more than 100 people.
To prove our commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance, we obtained the ISO-9001 quality management system certificate for our group companies in 2020. While making commitments to environmental, social, and corporate governance through national and international collaborations, we will continue to learn and develop in this field.
To keep pace with the rapidly digitizing and technologically advancing world, it was inevitable to structurally and technically renew our company. As Ertek Group, we joined the transformation wave by managing process controls with ERP systems, continuously enhancing our dynamic structure.
With the principle that ‘there is no task that cannot be overcome when knowledge and experience come together,’ I am transferring my experience and knowledge to the younger generation. By integrating the visionaries of the new generation into our corporate culture based on our core company values, I firmly believe that ERTEK Group companies will expand beyond borders and that the existing development will be sustainable. While experiencing the justified pride of our successes transcending the borders of Cyprus, seeing the excitement of our employees who tirelessly work to reach new goals also makes me extremely happy.
As our companies continue their domestic and international projects, they will continue to contribute technically, technologically, and economically. Contributing to the professional and social development of our youth, especially, holds the utmost value for us.
With our human-focused approach, centred on technology and innovations, I wholeheartedly believe that our employees will lead the company from success to success. The dynamism and motivation present across our apprentices, masters, engineers, and administrative staff are indicators that our future goals will be achieved.
As we complete this 30-year labour journey, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated employees who constitute the ERTEK family, our supportive business partners, and stakeholders.
